Players can now create scorecards when playing golf at one of the other home nations within GB&I. Enter social/general play scores via the MyEG app by clicking on the ‘Scorecard’ function at the foot of the dashboard screen and follow these instructions.
When returning scores, golfers are advised to enter scores hole by hole, have the score attested promptly after play, and before leaving the golf club as your attester needs to digitally sign this round. WHS™ rules specify that general play scores must be returned by midnight of the day of play, competition scores are to be returned promptly after play.
If the ‘Enter Score’ function is not visible on the app, please go to the app store to download the latest version of the MyEG app.
Note: you must ensure you have the most up-to-date version of the MyEG app (including the score entry icon) to be able to select them as your app scorecard verifier and for them to verify your score.
Also, when submitting a score through the mobile app, there is the option to add scores for playing partners. However, as with paper scorecards, each player must submit their own score separately for it to be recorded against their handicap. Including a playing partner in your round will ensure their name appears first when selecting an attester of your card for submission. If the attester, or anyone else in your playing group, wants to submit their own score, they need to go through the score entry process on their own app
Please see our step-by-step guide to score entry by looking at our user guide which can be viewed at by using THIS LINK (page 28).
