Although England Golf sends the automatic email regarding score intents not completed, your club’s Handicap Committee is responsible for maintaining your Handicap record.
Once a score intent is created it should be completed via the same method i.e. created in App complete in App, created on clubs software complete by clubs software.
If your club enters the score for you. they must remember to remove the score intent from your record via their access to the WHS Platform to prevent a penalty score from being applied.
Please contact your Club's Handicap Committee regarding Score Intents not completed, Penalty score automatic service emails and Penalty scores applied as these are generated when a score intent has been entered (either Competition entry or General Round) and not completed on the same day.
The Penalty score complies with Rule 7.1b of The Rules of Handicapping.
